Happy New Year, sisters! May this year only bring joy and peace into our lives.
The last couple years have been rough on everyone, but we want to spread cheer and hope for this year. We want to encourage you to start off this new year by being a newer, more positive version of yourself!
Now, we know it’s difficult to complete even one New Year’s resolution – at least for me – but it’s great to set goals and challenge yourself.
We want you to focus on one goal this year – changing your mindset. Make a point to be more understanding, forgiving, and motivating this year. Research shows a positive mindset can improve wellbeing, stress management, and increase life span.
Positive mindset shifts to make in 2022
Simply look at the glass half full
Practice thinking positive and kind thoughts of yourself. 2022 is the year to get back up again, so make a habit of acting and thinking positively. There’s a bright side in every down situation and we should focus on it. For instance, “I have to pay more taxes,” can become “I made more money this year.”
See the bigger picture
Finding the opportunity in a difficulty eases the process of coping from bad news. Instead of saying “I can’t afford that”, ask “how can I afford that?”
Robert Kiyosaki’s wise words teach us that the mindset is important, as it can make or break a person. A positive mindset and self-talk will open your mind to more opportunities and success. Don’t dwell on the negatives, but look for solutions. Nothing is impossible, reach for your dreams!
Have a growth mentality
It’s important to be forgiving to yourself. Developing a growth mentality allows you to accept your mistake, learn from it, and move on. Instead of regretting and punishing yourself, we encourage you to see mistakes as a stepping stone and a valuable life lesson.
